Today we observed social distancing with students from Ms. Wallace's 4th graders at Anne Wien Elementary. Allen and I were on Noyes Slough, Katie and about 12 students were in their respective homes, and Jenn was in her classroom. Via Zoom, we saw each others faces, shared drilling holes in the ice, measured ice thickness and snow depth, and challenged students to go out and measure snow around their homes and compare these to the slough.
