We saw a big uptick in activity in our Fresh Eyes on Ice Facebook group this month! Great posting activity, we've gotten many posts showing changes in weather and ice on rivers, lakes, and ponds. Posting photos of the same location but different locations promotes better observations of the ice. With these observations we've also noticed great descriptions of what can't be seen through the post and pointing out safety hazards that associate with the location. We love seeing ice observations connected with our communities hobbies and passions (i.e. paintings, photography, classroom/student activities and participation)!
