The Innoko River flows through amazing country of western Alaska before merging with the Yukon River near Holy Cross. This camera is just downstream from the community of Shageluk where student ice observers at the Innoko River School are monitor river and lake ice conditions as a science team for this project. The impact of ice continued on the Innoko River in 2022 well after break-up because of a ice jam flood on the Yukon River that spilled into the vast Innoko lowlands. Check it out on YouTube here.
