This is our sixth river freeze-up video of 2022 as part of the Fresh Eyes on Ice (http://fresheyesonice.org/) project documenting ice phenology in Alaska. Many thanks to Susan Hubbard for locating the camera on her property and students and teachers at Jack Egnaty Sr. School for helping collect important ice data. Angela Hayden (teacher, pilot, and citizen scientist) gave us some great additional perspectives here just when the ice stopped moving and USGS provided river flow data for context.
